Kingdom Dance

I'm so sorry to the person that requested! I meant to fulfill their request a LONG time ago, but our floors were being re-done i didn't have access to my paints, and I had to when I finally did I realized i'd lost my art pens. well, my art pens finally came in and so i present to you, Alfred and Casper at the kingdom dance!!! I plan to do the other have of the request, something beach related, and to also do something autumn related soon!

I've discovered digital art and I think I'm in love!!!

I've downloaded Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro, and I've been using it for a TON of different drawings! To my surprise, doing Alfred and Casper was a lot harder using this method, but it makes it so much easier to upload to the blog.

  

Summer

Here is my failed attempt at crayon art. Crayon is a horrible medium for art like these because of it's lack of control. From now on, I think I'll stick to watercolor.

(Plus, I had to give the computer to my sisters, so I had to take the picture with my camera.)

Spiderman 2-SPOILERS

I know the drawing is terrible, and I may have possibly spoiled the movie for some people, but I was so devastated by the ending that I had to use art as a way of channeling my emotions. Here's a hug to anyone else who went and saw Spiderman2 and cried. \(^;-^;)/

Inchy the Inchworm

I got a comment a the other day requesting another character. At first, I didn't like the idea because it meant not having the drawings centered around Alfred and Casper, but then I realized that it would actually be extremely helpful to have another character that could pop in whenever I needed more people. (for a party or something) but that wouldn't appear in everyone of my arts. At first, I had no ideas whatsoever at who I should add. I wanted it to be cute, small, and something that you could find in your own backyard. I also wanted it to be easy to draw, since I won't have as much time to practice drawing it as Alfred or Casper. As always, I turned to my true source of inspiration, (God), and asked him for a little help. Just after I did, I sat down and started surfing the internet, hoping for an idea, when one fell right out of the sky. literally. I had just been mowing, and I still had my cap on, and a little green speck fell from it onto my arm. My first reaction, (sorry Inchy,) was the yelp and flick the poor little guy. he went flying to the other side of my bed, where he lay, paralyzed. I quickly apologized, and introduced myself. He only looked at me with surprise, and then started inching his way off the bed. Carefully, I picked him up and set him on my bedside. After I took a few rough sketches, I gently carried him outside to his home. Inchy is still living on the tree in our backyard, but now he also lives in the world of Alfred and Casper! Sometimes, it's the little things, like an unexpected visitor, that can give you inspiration! As always, I hope to show God's goodness with my art, and I hope you enjoy my little painting of Inchy the Inchworm! ^.^  

Car Ride

Ice Skate

I got a request, (I will not mention her name,) from a follower who requested an ice skating related pic, so here it is!
Wouldn't that be cool to be ice skating one day and suddenly see a pug dragging his little hedgie friend around the rink? ^.^ 

Sick Days

Hey guys! sorry for taking so long to upload these. I sketched most of them as long as a month ago, but finals kept me from scanning them.
I was sick the week after my last upload, so I made this as soon as I got better. I had lots of chicken soup, but sadly no adorable hedgie to deliver it.

The Return of Alfred's Bankie

This one makes me smile! I don't know why but it does. 

I was looking back over some of my old drawings, when I saw that a blanket had appeared in several different arts, so I decided to roll with it. B]

Video Games

*sighs and tuts* This one did NOT turn out how I had hoped. Alfred doesn't even look like a pug. 

Just in case you're wondering, yes. that is an original nintendo remote. I actually enjoy playing the original Legend of Zelda! It will never be old fashioned to me. ;)

Rain Dance

I love and hate this one. Drawing Alfred was scary, and he didn't turn out like I wanted but, YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH FUN SPLATTERING PAINT IS. *Grins at thought* :3

Alfred and Casper Paintings

YES!!! *jumping in seat* I've finally gotten around to re-doing them in color!
I meant to just do the one with Casper riding Alfred, but I kinda got carried away in my art. ;)

Requests

If you guys have any requests, or any cross-overs you want me to do please comment them here or email me!(for the majority that don't have Google accounts). So far, the only cross-overs I've done are Frozen and Sort-of the Hobbit.

Soft Things

This is definitely my least favorite of my drawings. There's no focus point, and Casper is all messed up. I also got lazy when drawing the pile of soft things, and the dragon took me forever.

Yes, just in case your asking, that is Smaug. Casper is a HUGE fan of the Hobbit! He has Alfred read it to him almost every night. His favorite character is Bilbo, because he's small like him, but despite his size, he changed the fate of middle earth. If you haven't read the Hobbit, PLEASE do! It will be the best book you've ever read!

Music

This is one of my favorites! Alfred turned out really cute and Casper is just perfect! I did have to stretch the headphones a little beyond reality to make it fit them both, but it's still a nice drawing.

Please don't ask me how Alfred works an IPod. I have no idea either. I've asked him, but he won't tell me. When I'm sad, I like to imagine him trying to unlock it with those paws of his. XD  

I also like to pretend that they're listening to Imagine Dragons! ^~^

April Fools!

Instead of drawing the usual skeleton for Alfred, I drew it as it is while looking at my pug, Desi, who was sleeping right next to me.
Alfred loves his blankie, and he's going to be pretty ticked off when he wakes up to find it, and him, wet! ;P

Movie Night

 

Doing Anna was torture, but overall this one turned out pretty good. This is the format I'm going to be using for most of my artwork.

And yes. I am a huge fan of Frozen. If you haven't seen it yet, please do. 

Alfred and Casper in Color

I'm not a huge fan of this drawing. I messed up some the colors, especially for Casper, but Alfred's body structure turned out nicely. I'm probably going to try re-doing it with a different medium, Acrylic perhaps, or maybe watercolor.

Character Sketches

Here are some sketches I did of Alfred and Casper to get an idea of their shape and body structure. Making character sketches always seem to help me know them better and help me when i'm trying to do them in odd positions.
